Cancellation Policy

1. Booking and Scheduling Advance Scheduling: We recommend booking your commercial move at least 2 weeks in advance to secure availability and allow sufficient time for planning. 2.Payment Terms Payment Due Before Unloading: Full payment is required prior to unloading at the new commercial location. We will not begin unloading the truck until full payment is received. 3.Responsible Party for Payment On-Site Presence Required: The responsible party for payment must be present at both the pick-up location and the destination location during the move. This person is required to: Sign the contract and confirm payment details before the move begins Authorize payment at the destination location before unloading can commence No Unloading Without Payment: Unloading at the destination will not begin until full payment has been made and signed off by the responsible party. 4Cancellation and Rescheduling Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule your commercial move, please notify us at least 72 hours before the scheduled date to avoid cancellation fees. Rescheduling: Any rescheduling requests made within 72 hours of the move date may incur additional charges based on availability. 5Damage Protection and Insurance Basic Coverage: Basic liability coverage is included for commercial moves. This protects your items during transit based on the weight of the items being moved. Not Responsible for Items Moved by Others: Gulf Coast Moving will not be responsible for damages to items that are moved by you, your employees, or anyone other than our moving team. If any items are handled or moved by others, we cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs. Additional Insurance: For high-value items or critical business equipment, we strongly recommend purchasing additional insurance. Please contact us before the move to discuss insurance options.
